10 Colorful Summer Bras for H, J, K and L Cups.

I’m a klutz, so I almost never wear white. I’ve ruined more white pants, shirts, skirts, tops and bras than you can possibly imagine over the years, so at this point I almost always stay clear. Luckily, this frees me from the nude t-shirt bra issue and means I can fill up my lingerie drawer with all the colors of the rainbow. You don’t have to embrace colorful bras all the time, but summer can be a great time to break out your most colorful lingerie options.

While H, J, K and L cups have fewer colorful options available to them, some brands are making the effort to make colorful summer bras for the larger end of the large cup sizes. Here are 10 of my current favorites:

1. Daphne Underwired Balcony Bra by Freya
If you’re someone who prefers a little color to one solid block of color, this Daphne bra is perfect. It’s sweet, laid back and full of summer colors.

2. Angel Balcony Bra by Curvy Kate
This bra has been one of my favorites this summer! The cups run small, so make sure to go up one cup size from your normal one. It’s cool and comfortable and works well under a large range of dresses and tops.

3. Luxe Heart Bra by Bravissimo
This bra reminds me of Barbies and Disney princess movies, which is part of what I love about it. The shiny lurex hearts will either make you love it or hate it. There isn’t enough pretty princess lingerie in large cup sizes and I hope Bravissimo keeps making sets like this for future seasons.

4. Cleo Chloe Balconette Underwire Bra by Panache
This is the only underwire bra I have ever been able to fall asleep in. It’s incredibly comfortable and has lots of coverage without making me feel older than I am. If you’ve had issues with the high wires in regular Panache bras, Cleo may be your answer.

5. HP Koktajl Bra by Ewa Michalak
The Ewa Michalak site seems to be in flux right now. I’m hoping this means that more gorgeous bras are in the works for the Fall/Winter season. In the meantime, this is one of the few bras left in larger cup sizes there. It’s extra gorgeous and has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has tried it. The HP shape doesn’t give you nearly as much forward projection as the EM plunge bras do, so this is worth a try if you aren’t a fan of her PL bras.

6. Panache Sports Bra in Navy
If you’re full busted, a great sports bra is essential to enjoying summer sports. I love how colorful and pretty this Panache one is along with having a great size range. It’s nice to see someone making sports bras for larger cup sizes that don’t look like white body armor.

7. Oriental Bloom Bra by Bravissimo
This bra goes up to an L cup, which I hope means that Bravissimo is committed to producing more pretty bras up to L in the future. I love the navy blue and pink colors as well as the nod to classic oriental design elements.

8. Esme Underwired Moulded Bra by Fantasie
I realize that when it’s hot out wearing thin tank tops mean moulded cup bras can be essential to your wardrobe. That said, they don’t all have to be nude or white. This red Esme bra is both practical and pretty.

9. Cleo Lucy Balconette Underwire Bra by Panache
I’ve loved every color that this Lucy bras has come out in. I own the Berry colorway, but they all fit the same and can be found on various sites. If you’re into neon green, check out the variation that Bravissimo is carrying this season. This bra is cute and comfortable. It also provides a great rounded shape which makes it a great every day bra.

10. Mai Blossom Bra by Bravissimo

Red and orange and flowers?! Enough said, I want this bra. Even better, this bra goes up to a K cup.

Beautiful selection Holly! We’ve got a couple of these in store in our H, HH, J, JJ and K range. Having a tough time restocking the Chloe – it’s such a big hit!

I’ve noticed that the Cleo bras do sell out really quickly – I’ve had a hard time getting a few that I want as a result. Are they a very popular line for you?
