The Christmas when I was 13, my mom got me my first matching bra and panty sets. They had lace, and two of them had thongs. I have two older brothers and no sisters. The look on my dad’s and brothers’ faces when we all opened our gifts was really funny, but it was a bit awkward that they knew what my bras and panties looked like. I could also tell that my dad was beginning to realize I was growing up. 😛

Oof. I don’t have one. Is that awkward? I tend to buy lingerie for myself, so I haven’t had the pleasure (or displeasure?) of anyone doing it for me!

I teach all girl high school fashion design. Inevitably, one of the girls will be hanging around with their boyfriend or a group of guy friends before class. On a couple of occasions I’ve gotten “So why can’t Bob stay?” My answer generally involves the use of the words like boobies, corsets and/or neck’ed – you know, depending on the topic of the day. There is something pretty amazing about the shades of red that teenage boys can turn. Love it every time.

Goodness, I don’t think I really have one! I briefly went bra shopping with my mom and autistic teenage brother once, that was sorta interesting. I don’t think he even noticed where he was because the poor guy was so tired and bored from a day of dress shopping. Ah, prom preparations. :’)
